Effect of different weedicides on quality of onion Allium cepa L. under varying levels of nitrogen application

In field trials conducted on sandy loam at C. S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur (in Uttar Pradesh) during 1986-1988, the effects were evaluated of 7 herbicides (Tok-E-25 and Lasso both applied at 2 kg/ha, Basalin applied at 1 kg, and isoproturon, simazine, Dosanex and atrazine, all applied at 0.5 kg) and 3 levels of N (60-100 kg N/ha) on the quality and potential for storage of onions.
