Trials to study the effect of drip layouts and planting geometries on tomato crop yield and cost of the drip system were conducted on sandy-clay-loam soil. The effect of planting geometries on tomato yield was not significant. The two-plant drip irrigation layout resulted in an increase in crop yield of between 9.9 and 16.5% over the individual plant drip irrigation layout.
