Effect of environment on the development and spread of Stemphylium blight of lentil
The reason behind the periodic appearance, every 2-4 years, of Stemphylium blight of lentil in Bihar, India was investigated. Surveys were conducted in several locations from Dec. to Feb. 1986-90. The time of appearance and severity of disease were recorded and diseased samples were examined. Meteorological data for these periods were also analysed.
