On 76 individual farms localized in regions of 2 dairy cooperatives, 526 lactating cows were examined for milk yield and composition. Milking was controlled 4 times a year (Jan., April, July and Oct.), and contents of DM, fat, protein, lactose and urea were determined in milk samples. Data on milk performance were analysed in relation to actual feeding system.
