Effect of exclusive feeding of paddy straw on macro and micro elements in rumen liquor, blood, plasma and tissues in buffalo calves (Bubalus bubalis)

, : Effect of exclusive feeding of paddy straw on macro and micro elements in rumen liquor, blood, plasma and tissues in buffalo calves (Bubalus bubalis). Buffalo Journal 9(1): 35-42

Feeding of rice straw exclusively to buffalo calves resulted in a decrease in copper and zinc concentrations in whole blood, plasma and rumen fluid. Calcium and iron concentrations decreased in whole blood and rumen fluid. Manganese increased in rumen fluid and tissues. Cu content of liver decreased whereas Zn concentration was lower in organs such as forestomachs, liver, intestine, testis, skin and hair.

The effects of CGS 9343B (zaldaride maleate), a calmodulin antagonist, on mechanosensitive channels were examined in crayfish slowly adapting sensory neurons using the two-electrode voltage clamp technique. In addition to its inhibition of voltage...

Over an eight week period the saloid, Al, and Ca fraction decreased while that of Fe increased. On St.Ann clay loam...
