, : Effect of feeding corn stover silage on milk production and performance of Sahiwal Friesian dairy cattle. Sustainable animal production and the environment Proceedings of the 7th AAAP Animal Science Congress, Bali, Indonesia, 11-16 July, 1994 Volume 2: contributed papers: 237-238

18 lactating cows were fed on a maize stover silage:concentrate mixture (30:70 and 40:60), or grazed on cut fodder. The cows were fed ad libitum and given a mineral supplement. Over a 5-month period, milk yield using the 3 diets averaged 7.32, 7.99 and 4.42 kg/day.
