In a 4 x 2 factorial design experiment, digestibility of a commercial pelleted mixed feed and nitrogen balance were estimated in 74 Italian hybrid rabbits in 4 categories (growing males, growing females, lactating non-pregnant does and lactating pregnant does) fed to appetite or restricted to 75% of the amount consumed to appetite.
