Effect of fertilization with nitrogen and potassium on storage losses of onion sets
In 3-year trials with the cultivar Rawska, the crop received N at 75 or 150 kg/ha, P2O5 at 50 kg/ha and K2O at 100 or 200 kg/ha, applied in different combinations. Sets selected for storage were of 3 sizes viz. 5-10, 11-17 and 18-25 mm in diameter. The sets were stored at either 20 or 0 degrees C from Oct. to late Feb. The trial was evaluated in early Mar.
