, : Effect of fertilizers on the productivity of the melon cultivar Vakharman-499 in the Tedzhensk region. Izvestiya Akademii Nauk Turkmenistana Seriya Biologicheskikh Nauk ( 3): 17-22

NPK applied at different rates, ratios and dates (12 treatments) increased yields by 44-151 hkg/ha. The best result was produced by 120 kg N + 120 kg P2O5 + 60 kg K2O/ha, and when 20 t FYM/ha was added to the best mineral fertilizer treatment, the yield was increased by 163 hkg/ha over the unfertilized control. N application at anthesis of the female flower was beneficial. The treatments improved fruit quality by increasing the sugar content.
