Effect of fertilizers on yield of fine-fibred cotton under conditions of takyr soils

, : Effect of fertilizers on yield of fine-fibred cotton under conditions of takyr soils. Agrokhimiya ( 10): 75-78

In field trials on takyr soils in the Karaulbazar massif of the Bukhara region in 1983-85, cotton was given no fertilizers, 250 kg N, 175 kg P2O5 and 100 kg K2O/ha, separately or in various combinations, 30 t FYM/ha, alone or with NPK, or 300 kg N + 210 kg P2O5 + 150 kg K2O. Effects on height of the main stem number of reproductive shoots and bolls, final DW/plant and average weight of seed cotton/boll are reported.
