, : Effect of foliage cutting, root size and GA3 foliar spray on carrot flowering, seed yield and its quality. Assiut Journal of Agricultural Sciences 23(2): 227-242

In field trials in the early summer seasons of 1990 and 1991, on carrot Red Cored Chantenay plants growing in a clay loam soil, it was found that cutting plant foliage to 2/3 of its length before planting, using transplants with large (15-17 cm long) roots and spraying plants 4 times during the growing season with 200 p.p.m.
