, : Effect of foliar spray of growth regulators and KNO3 on growth and yield of cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L. Walp) variety VCM-8. Indian Journal of Plant Physiology 34(4): 392-395

Cowpeas VCM-8 grown at Dapoli, Maharashtra in summer 1988 were sprayed with 5, 10 or 20 p.p.m. NAA, 100, 200 or 300 p.p.m. KNO3 or 50, 100 or 200 p.p.m. Ethrel Mean seed yield was 1.03 t/ha in unsprayed crops and 1.42, 1.29 and 1.32 t/ha in crops sprayed with NAA, KNO3 and ethrel, respectively. The highest yield (1.53 t/ha) was given by 5 p.p.m.
