, : Effect of food on larval development periods of Lipaphis erysimi Kalt and Aphis citricola Van Der Goot. Bangladesh Journal of Zoology 20(2): 297-300

The effects of different food plants on the length of time taken for development was investigated in the laboratory at about 13.5-24.8 degrees C and RH 57.1-76.8%. Lipaphis erysimi and Aphis citricola were provided with old and young leaves of Brassica chinensis, B. nigra, radishes, Solanum melongena (aubergine) and Eupatorium odoratum L. erysimi did not develop on E. odoratum. A. spiraecola did not develop on any plants except C. odorata. Development period varied on young and old leaves.
