Effect of fortification of streptomycin and procaine penicillin on economic traits of eri silkworm

, : Effect of fortification of streptomycin and procaine penicillin on economic traits of eri silkworm. Current Research University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore 19(11): 196-197

The effects of streptomycin and procaine penicillin on larval, cocoon, pupal and cocoon shell weights and cocoon shell ratio of Samia cynthia ricini were tested in the laboratory. Fifth-instar larvae were fed on leaves of Ricinus which had been soaked in solutions of streptomycin at 100, 150 and 200 mg/litre and procaine penicillin at 10, 20 and 30 mg/litre for 15 min.
