In field trials in the rabi seasons of 1987-89 treatment of cut seed tuber pieces of potatoes Kufri Chandramukhi with 0.2% mancozeb, captafol, benomyl and carbendazim gave tuber yields of 17.86, 16.91, 16.25 and 16.24 t/ha compared with 13.00 t from untreated seed tuber pieces and 16.44 t from whole seed tubers.
