Effect of grass species and potassium and nitrogen fertilization on the potassium form in soil

Roczniki Gleboznawcze 42(3/4): 71-75
Effect of grass species and potassium and nitrogen fertilization on the potassium form in soil
An experiment was commenced in 1986 on sandy soil with three grass species (Dactylis glomerata, Bromus unioloides, Lolium multiflorum), two potassium fertilization levels (160 and 320 kg K2O/ha) and five nitrogen fertilization levels (80, 160, 240, 320 and 400 kg N/ha). The results obtained after 3 years showed a considerable depletion of soil potassium, which was greatest with D. glomerata and least with L. multiflorum.
