Effect of housing density on egg production of hens in cages

Revista de la Facultad de Agronomia, Universidad del Zulia 9(4): 271-280
Effect of housing density on egg production of hens in cages
From 22 weeks of age, 11 254 hens were housed in cages allowing 600 or 400 cmsuperscript 2 floor space per bird. Housing density had no significant effect on egg production per hen housed, food conversion efficiency, mortality or culling.
