Effect of increasing protein and energy level in DKA feed mixtures on performance of broiler chickens

Effect of increasing protein and energy level in DKA feed mixtures on performance of broiler chickens

Biuletyn Informacyjny Przemysu Paszowego 31(3): 37-49

69 one-day old Astra B broiler chickens, in 4 groups were kept in metabolic cages for 7 weeks and fed ad libitum on DKA complete feed mixtures: starter from 1 to 21, finisher from 22 to 49 days old, without addition of fat (group 1 and 2) or supplemented with 6% standardized fat (groups 3 and 4). Protein content was: starter 22% (1, 3) or 24% (2, 4), finisher 19% (1, 3) or 20% (2, 4).
