Effect of organic matter on growth and yield of elephant foot yam (Amorphophallus oncophyllus)

A. oncophyllus was grown in 1991 in Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand on soil amended with 2 t rice hulls, black rice hulls, maize cobs, cattle manure, coir peat or castor meal/rai. Tuber weight/plant and total yield were increased by all organic amendments.
