Effect of water stress and antitranspirants on the chlorophyll contents of the leaves of Grevillea robusta A. Cunn

Six-month-old seedlings of G. robusta were transplanted to a soil/sand/FYM (2:1:1) medium in pots and acclimatized for 10 days in the open before being transferred to controlled conditions in a glasshouse. The pots were watered daily, or every 7 and 15 days, and within each watering treatment were treated with 4 antitranspirants (sodium benzoate, malic hydrazide, phenylmercuric acetate and cycocel) at 2 concentrations (100 and 1000 p.p.m.).
