Activities of AMP deaminase and adenylosuccinate lyase were demonstrated in the major tissues of Lymnaea luteola. The presence of these 2 enzymes along with the activity of aspartate aminotransferase can be taken as presumptive evidence for the operation of the purine nucleotide cycle in all the major tissues.
