Laboratory studies in 1987-89 showed a slight tendency towards a diminution of resistance of larvae and 1st-generation adults of the Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata) to chlorfenvinphos (Enolofos) in areas of Poland where the use of chlorfenvinphos had been suspended owing to resistance.
