Carbofuran 50ST (5%), carbosulfan 25ST (3 and 5%) and benfuracarb 50WP (5%) as seed treatments, carbofuran 3G (1.5 kg a.i./ha), phorate 10G (1 kg a.i./ha) and benfuracarb 3G (1.5 kg a.i./ha) as soil treatments and endosulfan 35EC (0.05%), chlorpyrifos 20EC (0.05%) and quinalphos 25EC (0.05%) as sprays were applied for the control of the anthomyiid Atherigona soccata on sorghum in Maharashtra, India, during kharif 1987.
