Efficacy of tilmicosin in therapy of respiratory diseases in pigs

, : Efficacy of tilmicosin in therapy of respiratory diseases in pigs. Berliner und Munchener Tierarztliche Wochenschrift 106(1): 6-9

During clinical evaluation of therapeutic effect of tilmicosin in pigs with enzootic pneumonia, nasal swabs were taken from 78 animals, before and after oral treatment with different doses of the drug (0, 100, 200, 300 mg tilmicosin/kg dry food). The swabs were bacteriologically examined for Pasteurella multocida, Bordetella bronchiseptica and Haemophilus parasuis.
