Employment, income and expenditure pattern of tribal farm families

Employment, income and expenditure pattern of tribal farm families

Social Change New Delhi 21(2): 48-53

This paper examines the employment, income and expenditure pattern of tribal farm families in the Jalgaon district of Maharashtra, India. It reveals that the extent of unemployment in the case of both male and female workers on large and small farms and in farm labour families is high. Expenditure exceeded income in all these families forcing them to borrow money from moneylenders.
