Estimating the content of body water and fat in pigs by measuring bioelectrical resistance and reactance

Untersuchungen zur Schatzung der Korperwasser und Fettgehaltes von Schweinen mittels der bioelektrischen Resistanze und Reaktanzanalyse: 131 pp.

Electrical resistance and reactance was measured between electrodes attached to fore and hind limbs in 123 conscious pigs of various ages, and compared with measurements of chest circumference, crown-rump length and body weight, also with water and fat content estimated after slaughter.
