Estimation by image analysis of available and accessible biomass of Medicago arborea L. shrubs

, : Estimation by image analysis of available and accessible biomass of Medicago arborea L. shrubs. Rivista di Agronomia 26(4): 536-541

Thirty 2-year-old M. arborea plants were photographed from 2 directions (facing the widest side of the tree, and perpendicular to this side) at 3 levels of defoliation (0, 50 or 100%). Good estimates of available phytomass were obtained using plant height and diameter.
