Estimation of body weight in Nelore beef cattle at 24 months of age, using growth curves

, : Estimation of body weight in Nelore beef cattle at 24 months of age, using growth curves. Revista da Sociedade Brasileira de Zootecnia 23(1): 85-91

Four non-linear methods (using von Bertalanffy's quantitative theory, Wood's algebraic model, the linear hyperbolic model proposed by Bianchini and a quadratic logarithmic model) were used to estimate body weight at 24 months for Nelore cattle, weighed at monthly intervals from birth to 24 months.

Uncoupling protein 2 (UCP2) mRNA is expressed in a panoply of tissues, including the brain, where it is widely distributed. In the mouse brain, it is expressed in the hypothalamus (suprachiasmatic, paraventricular, dorsomedial, ventromedial and ar...

We used Poisson regression to fit yearly prevalence at birth as a function of time for all ca...
