Crossbreeding parameters for meat production traits were determined by multiple regression analysis, based on Dickerson's method (Animal Breeding Abstracts (1969) 37, 191-202), using data on 662 pigs from an experiment on rotational crossing between the 2 breeds. Three models were employed. The 1st ignored relationships among animals, the 2nd incorporated sires, dams and their relationships, and the 3rd incorporated all relationships among animals.
