Estimation of nucleotides in mushrooms

, : Estimation of nucleotides in mushrooms. Deutsche Lebensmittel Rundschau 90(7): 212-217

A method was developed to estimate the occurrence and distribution of nucleic acids, nucleotides, nucleosides and free nucleobases in mushrooms. An extraction procedure for isolating nucleo compounds from mushrooms was developed, facilitating subsequent separation of the 3 nucleo compound groups by gel chromatography. Nucleosides, free bases, and bases hydrolysed from nucleic acids were estimated by an optimized HPLC method.
