Estimation of the breeding value of domestic fowls for a complex of traits using multivariate statistics

, : Estimation of the breeding value of domestic fowls for a complex of traits using multivariate statistics. Sel' skokhozyaistvennaya Biologiya ( 6): 184-190

In a retrospective analysis of the laying performance of approx. 10 000 hens and their dams and sires, multivariate analysis of variance and discriminant analysis were used as a basis for estimating breeding values. Scaling of some traits was carried out, as they were not normally distributed.
