Estimation of the effect of agrometeorological conditions on the yield of grain-forage crops at different agrotechnical levels

In field trials in 1981-89, barley and oats were grown continuously with no fertilizers or NPK at rates calculated for yields of 4 t/ha, alone or with Sinapis alba green manure or green manure + ploughed-in straw, or in 5 different rotations with NPK, NPK + green manure or NPK + green manure + straw. The rotations included 50, 67 or 83% cereals, together with perennial grasses, clover or vetch/oats mixtures. Data are given on the duration of each growth stage of barley and oats in each year.
