, : Ethylene forming enzyme (EFE) activity in various parts of the daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus) flower during its development and senescence. Folia Horticulturae 5(2): 13-22

Ethylene forming enzyme (EFE) activity was determined in various flower parts isolated from excised (cut at the bud stage) N. pseudonarcissus Dutch Master flowers at different stages of development and senescence. Activity was high in all the examined parts, even at the bud stage, reaching a maximum before symptoms of senescence appeared.
