European integration and Finnish agricultural statistics

, : European integration and Finnish agricultural statistics. Julkaisuja Maatalouden Taloudellinen Tutkimuslaitos ( 72): 25-28

Membership of Finland in the European Union will require EU regulations on agricultural statistics to be adopted in Finland. Price information will have to be collected more often and there will be changes in the classifications. The same is true for information regarding the number of animals. Macroeconomic statistics also need some modification. The biggest task in the harmonization process will concern structure statistics and the farm bookkeeping system.
