Evaluation of four amounts of quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa W.) in diets for rabbits, in Tumbaco, Pichincha

For 84 days 40 male New Zealand rabbits initially 30 to 35 days old were given diets with 0, 10, 20 or 30% Chenopodium quinoa grown in Ecuador, 24, 16, 8 or 0% maize and 6, 4, 2 or 0% fish meal, respectively, all with 40% lucerne hay, 5% soyabean oilmeal, 5% molasses, 1% bone meal and 1% vitamin-mineral mixture. Diets had about 16% crude protein and 13% fibre.
