Expression of the hybrid gene of the bifunctional protein insectotoxin-glucuronidase in transgenic tobacco plants

A genetic engineering technique was used to produce transgenic tobacco plants containing a hybrid gene for the delta -endotoxin of the insect-pathogenic bacterium Bacillus thuringiensis and the marker beta -glucuronidase.
