Factors affecting lateral shoot proliferation in grapevine cv. 'Rizamat' in vitro
Shoot proliferation from cultures of shoot tips of grapevine Rizamat was investigated on MS media supplemented with 0-10 mg BA and 0.01-0.5 mg IBA, IAA or NAA/litre. The optimum BA concentration was 1 mg/litre. Addition of IBA or IAA was more effective than NAA, with an optimum auxin concentration of 0.05 mg/litre. Addition of GA3 to the proliferation medium increased shoot elongation but inhibited multiplication.
