This paper examines input use, production and financial aspects of sesame cultivation in Bangladesh. The study was carried out in 1990, in two sub-districts, Dumuria, in Khulna district and Ullapara, in Sherajgonj district. Data on costs, returns, and disposal patterns were collected through a series of interviews with a questionnaire from 100 randomly selected farmers.
