Further characterization of the leaf development mutant, lbl

Further characterization of the leaf development mutant, lbl

Maize Genetics Cooperation Newsletter 66: 39

The maize leaf-bladeless mutation lbl shows a range of phenotypes classified into 5 stages, from complete loss of the leaf blade (stage 1) to only 10% loss at the margins. Seedlings grown at 30 degrees C showed more extreme phenotypes than seedlings grown at 18 degrees.
