Genetic analysis of a few quantitative characters of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) flowers. Their merits for evaluating the diversity of the species

Genetic analysis of a few quantitative characters of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) flowers. Their merits for evaluating the diversity of the species

Cafe, Cacao, The 37(4): 273-282

Information on correlation coefficients, variability and heritability is derived from data on 8 quantitative characters of cocoa flowers using a 12 x 12 half-diallel cross grown in Togo. Observations were made on 5 flowers per tree and 5-10 trees per cross.
