Genetic analysis of leaf resistance in tomato to Alternaria solani

Genetic analysis of leaf resistance in tomato to Alternaria solani

Genetika i Selektsiya 25(4): 314-318

Resistance was tested under artificial infection in hybrids from a diallel set of crosses involving 4 primitive forms of Lycopersicon esculentum, a local form (all with resistance) and 3 susceptible cultivars. The character was conditioned by additive, dominance and epistatic effects, and there were reciprocal differences in these effects.
