Genetic and reclamation features of saline meadow-chernozemic soils of the Kuban' Valley

Genetic and reclamation features of saline meadow-chernozemic soils of the Kuban' Valley

Pochvovedenie ( 7): 5-15

Excessive wetness , mainly caused by man, results in secondary transformations of chernozem into meadow-chernozemic soils and chernozem-meadow solonchakic solonetz. The development of these secondary hydromorphic steppe soils is related to the aquifer position and to parent rock features.
