Genetic components of white rust resistance and seed yield in Indian mustard (Brassica juncea)

Results of a 12 x 12 diallel cross involving lines resistant or susceptible to Albugo candida, but excluding reciprocals, indicated that simultaneous improvement of both seed yield and resistance to A. candida could be achieved by applying simple pedigree selection in the progeny of crosses of Indian with exotic cultivars.
