Genetic control of quantitative characters of cold resistance in tomato

Diallel analysis was used to study the inheritance of traits reflecting cold resistance in 4 varieties contrasting in resistance. Under normal conditions, GCA for the traits was highest in Sever and lowest in Delta 10 or Biruintsa (according to the method used), while SCA was highest in Sever X Michurinskii Rannii. Under stress, GCA was highest in Delta 10 or Biruintsa and lowest in Sever.
