Genetic definition of loci involved in Arabidopsis-pathogen interactions

Genetic definition of loci involved in Arabidopsis-pathogen interactions

Methods in Arabidopsis research: 393-418

This paper details methods of isolating, propagating and utilizing bacterial and fungal phytopathogens useful as probes in understanding the genetics of defence responses in Arabidopsis thaliana. A description is presented on the use of screening systems to define differential responses (resistance and susceptibility) of ecotypes to pathogen isolates. The contribution of these differential responses to the elucidation of the genetic control of plant-microbe interactions is discussed.
