Genetic divergence among fifteen multivoltine genetic stocks of silkworm (Bombyx mori L.)

Genetic divergence was analysed in 15 inbred multivoltine stocks of Bombyx mori that had been maintained by sib mating for 10-15 years. Five clusters were recognized, each with 1-5 genetic stocks. Parents from clusters I and III might be used in crosses for high fecundity, high cocoon weight, high cocoon shell weight and cocoon shell ratio.
