Genetic divergence in indigenous upland rice varieties

Genetic divergence in indigenous upland rice varieties

Indian Journal of Genetics and Plant Breeding 51(1): 47-50

On the basis of the Mahalanobis Dsuperscript 2 statistic calculated for 10 growth and yield related traits, 30 traditional varieties were assigned to one of 6 clusters. Cluster I combined 66.6% of all genotypes while IV, V and VI were monogenotypic.
