Genetic effect analysis in wheat anther culture of different generations

Genetic effect analysis in wheat anther culture of different generations

Acta Agronomica Sinica 17(4): 304-310

Anthers from P1, P2, F1, F2, BC1 and BC2 generations of 4 wheat crosses were cultured and regression analysis applied to the callus, green plant and albino plant regeneration rates, and the albino : green ratio. The results indicated that the primary gene effects on callus regeneration rate were dominant, on green plant rate they were both additive and dominant and on albino plant rate were subject to epistasis.
