Genetic effects of lead nitrate treatment of the seeds of chronically irradiated populations of Arabidopsis thaliana



Genetika Moskva 29(11): 1914-1920



Seeds collected from populations which had grown for several years within 30 km of Chernobyl' and had been exposed to radiation were treated with lead nitrate. Mutagenic effects were assessed on the basis of the frequency of mutant embryos (embryo lethals) and chlorophyll mutations.
