Genetic equilibrium of polymorphic blood group systems in cattle populations



Sel' skokhozyaistvennaya Biologiya ( 4): 10-14



1996 Ala-Tau and 239 Galloway cattle were typed for the F blood group system and for Hb, Tf, amylase, ceruloplasmin, carbonic anhydrase, albumin and prealbumin. Data are tabulated on allele and genotype frequencies, and deviations of actual from expected genotype frequencies. Significant deviations from genetic equilibrium were found for both breeds in respect of blood group F, for Tf, and for ceruloplasmin, postalbumin, albumin and carbonic anhydrase in Ala-Taus.
